Job Summary
Fiserv is looking for a Staff Software Developer to help us build modern online banking applications with the latest technologies. Working on a Scrum team, you and your team will decide how to get things done, so you should be self-organizing and familiar with devising solutions to tough problems.
Job Responsibilities
o Work with a Product Owner and your development team to plan upcoming work.
o Write production-quality code and be able to implement entire subsystems or feature sets. Software developed should have very few defects, should be robust in the face of environmental errors, should perform at or beyond requirements, and should be able to be understood by more junior developers.
o Test your code while developing as well as test other's code.
o Communicate accurate status to managers and other stakeholders.
o Identify project responsibilities outside of the standard implementation process and coordinate with the appropriate area.
o Occasionally provide staff and internal clients with training and technical assistance.
o Help identify closed loop corrective action for removing process defects in the software development life cycle.
o Demonstrate self-development by attending courses and conferences and perform self-study.
Education / Experiance Qualifications
o Four-year degree plus graduate work in software engineering, computer science, computer engineering is preferred or equivalent experience is required.
o At least 3 years experience writing software in a production environment, preferably in a product development setting. Software development experience should include scalable server solutions.
o Ability to assess and inspect coding practices and review software designs.
o Good interpersonal and written communication skills.
o Demonstrated skills in the following relevant technologies:
o C# / .NET
o MVC
o HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and XML
o jQuery / Ajax
o Unit testing
o Technological skills desired:
o Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
o General server administration on Windows Server 2008 R2
o General understanding of federated authentication
o Experience with dependency injection
o Team Foundation Server
o NUnit or other automated unit test development tool
o Experience using mocking frameworks such as TypeMock or Rhino Mocks
o Experience with Internet and computer based solutions for financial institutions and /or retail banking is a plus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
