Instrumentation/Controls Technician

Our semiconductor client is looking for a Technician who can accommodate a flexible schedule. Location and work times will be weekdays, Monday to Friday, but workdays and hours may vary. This is a physical job where this Technician will be out in the field most of the day and will not be sitting behind a desk. This Technician must be comfortable with using a handheld computer or tablet computer.
This position will be required to take the mandatory Hoffman Construction training:
Hoffman requires this Technician who will be working on the construction site to sit through their onsite orientation and take and pass their mandatory required drug screen. Hoffman incurs the costs for this training. You can view the policy on their drug screen on their site:
Job Duties:
Calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair of industrial instrumentation and control devices, plus commission of new systems.
Manage documentation for calibration, repair, and commission activities

## Job Requirements
CPR/FIRST Aid training and current certification is required
Education in designing, construction, implementation and commissioning of instrumentation, and control systems for industrial environments. Graduates from Perry Tech Institute or other similar technical training programs preferred.
2 years field experience with calibration of field instrumentation including pressure, temperature, flow, humidity, transducers, and analysis devices
Experience with calibration and repair of control valves and pneumatic actuators
Level 1 ISA Certified Control Systems Technician (CCST) or equivalent
Limited Maintenance Electrician Electrical License (LME) or higher
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with the startup/commissioning/operations of mechanical (HVAC, Exhaust, Water) systems
