Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the Maintenance Technician will be certified in the operation and basic maintenance of at least one primary tool set in the Cell production area. This position will work with processes and manufacturing engineers to ensure efficient day-to-day production operations in a high-volume manufacturing facility. As a team member, work to continuously improve production processes, equipment reliability and tool performance. _Specific deliverables associated with this opportunity include:_
Perform maintenance tasks to established work instructions and procedures.
Initiate planned corrective actions.
Perform Basic & Minor and Major Preventive Maintenance.
Perform Minor and Major equipment maintenance.
Close out open action plans or escalate when needed.
Support production technicians in resolving and addressing process or equipment problems.
Assist Engineering with process and equipment improvements.
Take actions to bring equipment back into operating parameters when necessary.
Maintain housekeeping in work areas in accordance with 5S (lean) principles.
Comply with all company safety and environmental requirements.
Enter data into computers and identify OOC conditions, respond to OOC according to established procedures. Performs equipment alarm recovery tasks.
May perform simple tasks including the movement of parts and materials, including forklift operation
Other duties as assigned.
Attendance is a critical function of this position.
In addition to the duties listed above, Maintenance Technicians at this level will be expected to assist with the following:
Development of operating procedures, maintenance schedule and instructions within company systems, formats and guidelines.
Maintain and search equipment logs and production database, consolidating data for reporting.
Optimize product flow and line efficiency by improving manual tools, work methods and station ergonomics, using the 5S methodology.
Drafting and dimensioning simple to complex components for fabrication by a machine shop.
Communication with production supervisors and personnel to gather data, coordinate daily activities and training.
Active participation in special task teams.
ERT involvement.
Maintenance Technicians at this level are expected to act as a Qualified Peer Trainer.
Maintenance Technicians at this level may be asked to act as work cell leads to maintain throughput. As a work cell lead, the position assumes lead responsibilities, assists with work activities, defines and resolves problems, assists with providing instruction and training as required and relieves Supervisor as required.
The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and
Experience:
Minimum education of an Associate's degree in Science, Technology or related discipline. Additional preference will be given for Solar Manufacturing Emphasis or coursework (or related Microelectronics manufacturing coursework).
Must possess a minimum of (7) seven years related work experience in high-volume manufacturing, with a preference for experience in solar, semiconductor or related technologies.
A working knowledge of production equipment such as: Diffusion Furnaces, Wet Bench Etching equipment; Photolithography, Epi and other equipment related to silicon wafer processing in Solar, Semiconductor or MEMS manufacturing equipment and/or production processes is preferred.
Prior experience with the operation of related equipment and performance of preventative and corrective maintenance is required.
Must possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal) as you will be working in a team environment that is very data-driven.
Basic computer skills are required including familiarity with windows-based programs such as Microsoft productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Word). A basic working knowledge of manufacturing or ERP systems and data entry and/or collection from such systems is preferred but not required.
Familiarization and experience with SPC (Statistical Process Control) is preferred.
A working knowledge of equipment and manufacturing safety procedures is required (e.g., lock-out / tag-out, electrical / high-voltage, chemical, reading MSDS, incident response procedures).
Must demonstrate and ability to conduct data collection and measurement activities utilizing standard and metric systems.
Must have the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and be physically able to perform some repetitive motions.
Must be able to work a 12-hour shift while standing for most of the time.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
