WALL PANEL MANAGER FULLTIME ON-SITE OREGON Qualifications High school diploma Prior experience as a manager in manufacturing Prior supervisory experience in precut component manufacturing Driver's License Class C and acceptable driving record Must be able to operate personal computer, smartphone, scanner, and any other equipment necessary for the job Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Knowledge of lumber and manufacturing principles, practices, and protocols Knowledge of home and commercial construction principles, practices, and protocols Ability to maintain adequate liability insurance as required by company.
Minimum is $300,000 liability coverage Leadership experience, traits and skills required Ability to travel, which may include flying regionally.
Some overnight stays should be expected Responsibilities Establish and maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers Identify personnel needs of yards regarding staff for the saw Initiate selection process and oversee staffing needs of our Opti-Frame sites in various yards Identify areas of improvement in our Opti-Frame initiative and plan and articulate needed changes with sales managers and staff Identify and implement skills development programs for Opti staff Maintain a well-rounded staff through cross training, open communications, and continued education Work with Marketing on promotion of Opti-Frame Assist in the budgeting and achievement of the company's annual Opti-Frame sales and GM projections Maintain company guidelines and criteria for customer service Establish a working knowledge of Opti-Frame equipment, programs and subsequent reporting Establish and execute formal recognition program driving efficiency, safety, and the pursuit of quality standards Work closely with Regional Operations Managers to ensure established best practices for the Opti-Frame program are being followed, which include:
training and packaging for deliveries making changes and improvements as needed to ensure maximum efficiencies and bottom-line results are achieved Develop, implement, and maintain best practices for production and design Directly oversee the Billing Coordinator group, Design Manager, and the Regional Opti-Frame Managers Ensure consistency of product and workflow process from region to region Organize production workflow to meet required specification, lean philosophies, and production dates Evaluate equipment needs and expenditures, and work with vendors to establish and negotiate programs Estimate labor cost and work with Regional Sales Managers, Director of Sales to ensure labor cost is being used Plan and work strategically to expand Opti-Frame in markets we operate in Create and maintain all related documentation and best practices Implement process improvements, new technologies, and methods to maximize efficiencies to reduce Cost of Goods Sold Manage expenses and ensure that allocations are properly hitting the shipping yards Assure that production and design metrics are tracked and establish action points as required based upon data being reported When possible, ensure that at least one manager from the Opti department is on site for any new Opti-Frame business Ability to regularly lead and facilitate meetings virtually or in person with various audiences Used in construction and construction contract management Project construction schedule and construction documents/specification Manage project pipeline of pre-construction, construction Provide oversight during construction on all assigned construction projects LL construction progress and schedule store construction Prepare material and construction bid packages for construction Complete all construction inspection/site visits for projects approved for construction Supervise all contractors during construction Upgrading existing analog radio system to a digital system Hitting pre-construction and construction Establishing construction budgets for projects Obtaining, updating and archiving all construction documentation for construction projects, including construction schedules Support various projects during construction Removing cost and time from new construction and capital construction projects Coordinate the tenant construction process and facilitate timely construction projects Supervise general construction contractors and sub-contractors Perform additional virtual construction tasks to support construction management duties Develop construction budgets for all projects Manage wind farm construction projects Controlling construction documentation received at site Recommended Skills Architectural Drawing Billing Communication Construction Construction Management Contract Management Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
