We are currently recruiting full time Medical Drivers.

Medical Drivers work in our Wheelchair Division performing non-emergency wheelchair transportation.
This is a great entry-level position for those looking to start their careers in healthcare.
We offer a variety of 10 and 12-hour shifts, and most of our full time Medical Drivers work three 12-hour shifts per week.
This position operates out of both our Clackamas and Hillsboro locations.
In addition to our EMR Academy, we also offer EMT and Paramedic school tuition assistance as well as flexible schedules that work around your school schedule if you are enrolled in an EMT or Paramedic program, or are taking pre-requisite courses for Paramedic school.
Essential Job Duties include:
Providing safe wheelchair transportation to doctor's offices, hospital discharges, dialysis center appointments, hospice, etc.
Working closely with a variety of patients and care providers Provide excellent customer services to all clients including hospital systems and long-term care providers Understand company policies and procedures and adhere to client confidentiality and rights Maintain a professional image and attitude and all timesRequirements include:
Minimum of 21 years in age Valid Oregon or Washington driver's license (if licensed out of state, must obtain in state driver's license within 30 days) and at least 2 years of driving experience within the United States Applicants must meet Metro West Ambulance's motor vehicle record, National/Federal and criminal background check, drug & alcohol screening, and physical requirement standards.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
