Our Client Services team is invaluable to the hospital, providing support for the clients and medical teams alike! CSR's determine the needs of the clients and patients, then help them access the appropriate services.
All of this is done with empathy, courtesy and attention to hospital workflow.
You'll join a collaborative team, where we solve problems together and support each other.
Our beliefs in transparency, teamwork and awesome customer service help us provide patients with the care they need, and equip the staff with tools for problem solving! Responsibilities include:
- Greeting clients and their pets, answering phones.
- Scheduling appointments, including surgeries and follow-up care.
- Triaging client requests, questions, emails and texts for the veterinarians.
- Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general non-medical pet care (ie - heartworm prevention, flea control, etc).
- On the spot problem solving in stressful situations, while remaining calm and professional.
Required
Qualifications:
At least 2 years experience in a client-facing profession - ie.
Sales, Retail, Restaurants, Customer Service or Medical Services.
Previous Veterinary Receptionist experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right person, since finding someone who fits our culture is very important! Open availability, including ability to work evening and weekend shifts (we're open 7 days/week).
High school diploma or GED required.
Basic skill level with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ability to use other computer programs and applications.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to lift 35lbs (pet carriers, food, etc).
Sense of humor.
