Lead Manufacturing Technician

The Manufacturing Lead also provides effective training to assembly personnel and ensures safety and quality standards are maintained at all times.
The Manufacturing Lead may provide a percentage of direct labor contribution to assemble products which will require the use of a variety of hand tools, fixtures, mechanical work instructions and test equipment.
Training employees Facilitating team participation Resolving production problems Conducting performance evaluations Following and auditing safety guidelines Giving and receiving employee feedback Assists in scheduling Team overtime, PTO and tracking overall attendance Provides written end of shift performance updates to Production Supervisor Updates weekly, daily/hourly production metrics and facilitates regular team meetings Education /
Experience:
Background in lean manufacturing, 6S and continuous improvement Experience with low volume, highly complex manufacturing processes Demonstrated ability in successfully leading a Team of 8-10 employees 5
years of manufacturing experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role preferred Associates degree in Business Management (cumulative certifications also acceptable) preferred Required Skills:
Ability to flex multiple leadership styles Excellent verbal and written communication Experience with managing projects and teams Job Types:
