Cinder Solutions is looking for a solid Wireless Validation Technician to fill a role with one of our local clients out here in Hillsboro, OR. This is a full time, 40 an hour a week position. Job Description:
Our client is searching for a solid Wireless Validation Technician to perform hands on performance testing for wireless products including connectivity and proof of concept.
Responsibilities:
Wireless testing and setup:
- Performance
- Connectivity
- Proof of concept
- Performance
- Over-the-air capture
Regression testing:
- S0/3/4/5 states
- Use of OEM test tools
- WHCK setup
Hardware (
- Soldering/rework
- Use of hardware tracing tools (scope, protocol analyzer)
Required Skills:
System knowledge:
- Windows 7/8/8.1 configuration and administration
- Windows server administration
- Ghost/OS image/Windows File system/BIOS/Boot options
- Wireless infrastructure (Access points, domain controller)
Soft skills:
- Use of inventory system
- Able to report results/steps in standard format
- Able to work with some ambiguity and to ask question
- Able to maintain multiple tasks running
