Cinder Solutions is looking for a solid Purchasing Specialist to fill a role for one of our direct, growing clients in Hillsboro, OR. This is a full time, 40 an hour a week position. We offer all full time employees a full, competitive benefits package that includes PTO and Healthcare coverage.
Job Description:
We are looking for candidates who have strong Corporate Purchasing Skills to assist our clients' department in making purchasing decisions. This position requires considerable interaction with test engineers, test technicians, and software developers.
Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility is to provide purchasing support for computers, networking equipment, and related supplies, working in a support position with Intel employees.
- Previous experience and familiarity with our clients' corporate purchasing tools & acquisition processes is required. A strong consideration will be given to candidates with extensive corporate purchasing experience.
- The candidates focus will be on asset-related duties such as purchasing, inventory, asset management, tracking shipments and back up for receiving.
Required Skills:
- Strong communication, being an expert in dealing with and completing complex detailed tasks with minimal supervision along with good interpersonal skills are essential.
- Understanding of computer equipment required.
- Familiarity with purchasing process & tools for corporate purchasing.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent communications, both written and verbal.
- Adaptable to changing priorities, and able to work to a deadline.
- Team player with a strong customer support attitude.
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds to workbench height.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Familiarity with our clients' purchasing tools & processes.
- Familiarity with computer networking equipment and architecture-based hardware
- Familiarity with MS Office and database usage experience.
