We are seeking a Credentialing & Enrollment Specialist to provide administrative support to dentist recruitment department.
Will be the liaison between Practitioners and related entities such as hospitals, malpractice insurance agencies, and billing companies in credentialing matters. Work closely with the Management Staff of each office to assist in answering questions and collecting outstanding items for Practitioners in the privileging process. Organize and facilitate the periodic re-credentialing process, as needed. Maintain current credentials for all active providers. Comply with all HIPAA/board of dentistry/CMS rules and regulations. When requested, coordinate, compile, and prepare reports pertaining to existing Practitioners. Preparation of all correspondence associated with the credentialing process.
Associate's Degree or more in related field preferred. Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) with 3 to 5 years experience is preferred. Knowledge of national credentialing standards based on NCQA guidelines. Prior experience in a related healthcare setting is highly desirable with knowledge of medical and dental terminology. Demonstrated skills in attention to detail, organization and prioritizing, multi-tasking and decision making a must. Excellent professional, communication skills both verbal and written with all levels of individuals in the organization. Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel; with credentialing software, Great Plains (HRIS) and recruiting software is a plus. Must be resourceful and have basic research skills to do primary source verification.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
