## Description
External Reporting is responsible for the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filing. In addition, we support management in the preparation for the earnings release by providing a quarterly internal analysis package (talking paper). External reporting is grouped with our treasury accounting functioning and ultimate rolls up to our corporate planning and reporting group.
In this Oregon-based position, you will support the external reporting processes at Intel. You will report to the External Reporting Managers and partner with various accounting and operations finance groups. This position has responsibility for:
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Complete the quarterly analysis supporting the earnings release. Specifically, examine the period over period changes related to our treasury accounts
Partner with our Treasury Ops/Acctg on process improvements and current/future investments with understanding impact to financial disclosures
Prepare applicable footnote and MD&A; disclosures of Intel's SEC 10-Q/K filing.
Sections will include, but not limited to: fair value, cash and investments, equity method investments, MD&A;, and etc.
Assist the team with ad-hoc projects, which may include XBRL, review of other filings, and etc.
## Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor of Science or Arts degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical accounting experience. An M.B.A. and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) would be an added advantage. Additional qualifications include:
Strong business partnering, concise communication (verbal and written) to various levels
Strong problem solving skills and working knowledge of US GAAP
Solid financial analysis and analytics, risk management and controls, teamwork
Comfortable in ambiguous situations and ability to work through various complexities
Ability to work beyond normal working hours during close critical timelines
Possess sufficient knowledge about Intel's business and products
