Successful candidate to work as part of a rapid business innovation team to develop next-generation wearable sensor applications working closely with a multiple business groups across the organization. The candidate brings industry experience in application of modeling using machine learning and
familiar with typical features, and signal processing to clean up and extract features from motion sensors to develop f sports and fitness applications.
Candidate will join the technical project team to devise features for machine learning algorithms and general insights to a set of scalable platform requirements and tools to be developed.
Specific day-to-day tasks will include:
Develop insight on features relevant to a variety of physiological sensor applications
Develop computationally efficient digital signal processing algorithms to extract features from sensor data
Develop algorithms to automate feature generation
Prototype DSP algorithms for resource constrained platforms and real-time systems. Prototype algorithms to model the data.
REQUIREMENTS:
Matlab and other data processing and visualization tools
Proficient in intermediate-level statistics
Experience with digital signal processing techniques on time sequences.
Master's degree or a Ph. D in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent education.
Min of 5 years post-graduation experience
Proficiency in C and/or python
Excellent communication and documentation skills. Demonstrated experience.
DESIRED
Experience in processing data sequences from physiological and inertial sensors
Understanding of basic data structures and algorithms used in machine learning
Proficiency in: Python and Core Libraries: Pandas, Scikit-Learn, MatplotLib, IPython Notebook, etc.
Technical leadership of small development team applying machine learning for application development.
