Study the architecture and requirements for the thermal management framework driver and develop test plan and test cases to thoroughly cover the requirements, conduct peer reviews of test cases.
Schedule deliverables and execute against deadlines , owns and track technical integration requirements that need to be included in final product/platform release
Execution of manual and automated test cases and update the test results
File defects and own the follow up till closure
Review & analyze test results to ensure correct functionality, determine root causes of failures and recommends corrective action. Publish test results to customer on time after review.
Defining and improving engineering processes to increase product quality and team efficiency
Writing scripts to automate test cases
Interact with development/validation engineers across multiple geographies in resolution of problems
Provide the execution data/reports to client and UST management Essential skills & experience Requirement:
5 to 7 years of validation experience of PC client platforms
Solid Understanding and demonstrated expertise in validation methodology
Expert Knowledge of x86 Platform architecture and its various subsystems
Understanding and validation experience on Windows and Linux Operating Systems
Excellent problem analysis and problem solving skills
Ability to own and drive resolution of technical issues
Excellent problem analysis and problem solving skills
Ability to own and drive resolution of technical issues
Ability to develop various use cases for laptop and netbook computers
Automation skills in python and C+
is highly required
Debug experience with tools like WinDbg/kdbg preferred.
Experience in product validation of laptop/netbook with Windows/Linux/Android/Chrome preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
