Job Description:
The Compliance Audit Analyst provides support to the Audit & Compliance Department coordinating internal and external audit schedules, compiling audit supporting documentation, collecting responses for internal, external, and other regulatory audit findings. Provides monthly audit compliance trending reports using available internal data such as IT metrics & reports, internal audit reports, compliance monitoring reports, and project management documentation.
Maintains all organizational and professional ethical standards. Works under general supervision with some latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
Essential Job
Responsibilities:
1. Assists with a risk based approach to plan and execute all internal related audit activities.
2. Assists Audit/Compliance Manager to ensure business and IT audit-readiness for the various compliance areas.
3. Assists in communicating the planning, scheduling and results of audits via written reports and oral presentations to management.
4. Assists in promoting compliance with regulatory requirements by monitoring and auditing the organization's IT and business practices.
5. Develops and maintains productive client and staff relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.
6. Prepares monthly audit compliance trending indicators.
Required
Qualifications:
Education
:
o Currently enrolled in a college program pursuing a 4 year degree.
Preferred:
o Two years education or experience in Information Technology (IT) or financial services or regulatory compliance.
o Audit/Compliance experience in equivalent field
o Customer facing experience
General:
o Self-motivated, sense of urgency and initiative.
o Ability to communicate effectively in an international business setting.
o Ability to manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities while achieving high level results.
o Receptive to changes, and ability to perform well under pressure.
o Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
o Interest in project planning and scheduling work flow with an ability to help others meet schedules.
o Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
o Must be highly detail oriented, able to learn quickly, and able to work effectively with other individuals and departments and/or independently.
o Strong computer skills, Proficient in MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
